A funeral celebrant creates and leads personalized ceremonies to honor a life. Unlike traditional clergy, I don’t use a standard script. I work closely with families to create a ceremony that reflects the real person—not just their timeline, but their personality, values, and story.

Yes—if that’s meaningful to your family. While most of my work is secular or humanist, I’m happy to incorporate prayers, scripture, or spiritual elements if they reflect your loved one’s beliefs. My role is to honor your voice and values.

Many families today don’t have a church home or prefer a non-religious ceremony. You are not alone—and you’re not without options. Ever Grace Ceremonies was created to provide a meaningful, respectful, and healing experience outside of traditional institutions.

  • Celebration of Life ceremonies

  • Memorial services (with or without remains present)

  • Graveside services

  • Ash scattering ceremonies

  • Infant or pregnancy loss ceremonies

  • Suicide or sudden loss memorials

  • Pet memorials

Each ceremony is written from scratch to reflect your loved one’s unique story.

The family meeting typically lasts about1- 2 hours. It’s an intentional, relaxed conversation where I learn about your loved one—their personality, passions, quirks, and values.

We’ll talk about their life and the people they loved (including you), so I can write a ceremony that feels real and personal. It’s also a time when memories are shared, laughter often happens, and healing begins.

Most ceremonies are 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your preferences. The length varies based on how many speakers, readings, songs, or symbolic elements you’d like to include. We'll design a flow that feels right for your family.

In most cases, my fee is handled by the funeral home and included as a line item on their general price list. You won’t need to pay me separately.

If you are planning a private ceremony or working outside of a funeral home, I’m happy to provide a clear, upfront quote.
