I'm Heather Cole, founder of Ever Grace Ceremonies, an ordained minister, Certified Funeral Celebrant, and professional ceremony writer based in St. Petersburg, Florida.
For me, this work has never been about standing in front of people.
It's about sitting beside them first.
It's about listening to the stories that make someone laugh through their tears. Hearing about the traditions that have been passed from one generation to the next. Learning the little details that reveal who someone truly was—or discovering what makes two people choose forever.
Those conversations become the foundation of every ceremony I write.
Because no two lives are the same.
No two love stories are the same.
And no two ceremonies should ever sound alike.
Whether I'm officiating a wedding or leading a Celebration of Life, my goal is always the same: to create a ceremony that feels deeply personal, beautifully written, and unmistakably yours.
I don't believe in filling in blanks on a template.
I believe in telling stories.
The kind of stories that make people smile through tears.
The kind that make families whisper, "That was so Mom."
The kind that allow people to leave feeling like they truly celebrated a life instead of simply attending a service.

My background combines pastoral ministry with professional celebrant training, allowing me to serve families and couples from many different faiths, traditions, and walks of life. Some ceremonies are centered on Scripture and prayer. Others are spiritual, non-religious, or completely secular. My role is never to write my story.

My background combines pastoral ministry with professional celebrant training, allowing me to serve families and couples from many different faiths, traditions, and walks of life. Some ceremonies are centered on Scripture and prayer. Others are spiritual, non-religious, or completely secular. My role is never to write my story.
It's to faithfully tell yours.
Over the years, my work has grown beyond officiating ceremonies.
Today, I help people preserve their legacy through life story interviews, personalized ceremony writing, keepsake books, and the Ever Grace Journal—a monthly guided writing experience that helps people capture their memories one chapter at a time.
Because I believe our stories are among the greatest gifts we'll ever leave behind.
Long after the flowers have faded...
Long after the music has ended...
Long after everyone has gone home...
The words spoken that day remain.
They become part of your family's history.
That is a responsibility I never take lightly.
Whether you're planning a wedding, honoring someone you love, or simply beginning to preserve your own story, it would be my privilege to walk alongside you.
Together, we'll create something that is remembered long after the ceremony ends.
