For families who wish to include Holy Communion, Ever Grace Ceremonies offers this sacred element as an optional add on.

Communion can be a powerful moment of unity, remembrance, and faith. When requested, I can provide and lead this portion of the service with reverence and care, including:

Communion bread and juice or wine
A gentle explanation and invitation
Prayer and guidance through the sacrament

Communion may be shared privately with immediate family or offered to all attendees, depending on your wishes and comfort level. Each Communion moment is handled respectfully and thoughtfully, honoring its sacred meaning.

I provide Christian services both at the funeral home or chapel and at the graveside, offering continuity and spiritual care from beginning to final committal.

Some families choose a single location, while others find comfort in having both an indoor service and a graveside farewell. I will guide you through these options and help you determine what feels most meaningful for your family.

Each setting is approached with prayer, intention, and respect.

Holy Water Blessing
Holy water may be used as a symbol of baptism, renewal, and eternal life. This blessing serves as a reminder of God’s promises and the hope we hold in Christ, offering peace and reassurance at the place of rest.

The Dirt or Earth Committal Ritual
The dirt ritual is a deeply grounding and sacred act. Family members may be invited, one by one, to place earth onto the casket or urn while words of committal are spoken.

This ritual acknowledges loss while affirming trust in God’s eternal care. It offers a physical, holy moment of goodbye that many families find deeply meaningful.

Participation is always optional and guided gently, with sensitivity to emotions and personal comfort.
